Joseph Kaiser plays Tamino
Joseph enjoys success in opera, oratorio, and concert throughout North America and Europe.
A prize winner in the 2005 Plácido Domingo Operalia Competition, Joseph also was recognized with the Robert Jacobson Memorial Grant by the George London Foundation, first prizes at the Elardo Opera Competition and Orlando Opera Heinz Rehfuss Singing Actor Award, and numerous scholarships at McGill University.
Joseph was one of Ben Davis' understudies for the role of Marcello in Baz Luhrman's Broadway musical 'La Boheme'.
The role of Tamino requires a singer with a Tenor vocal range. In music, a tenor is a male singer with a high voice.
Generally, the tenor roles are parallel to the soprano roles, in that they are usually the most sympathetic male roles; they play the hero, the lover, etc but there are the occasional villains
